 The Waverley is one of the most stylish,
relaxed dining cum drinking venues in Aldwick, set in a fantastic location
overlooking the sea. Inside is light and bright with
luxurious leather sofas and informal dining areas, whilst outside has elegant decking
and extensive heated terraces. In addition there is a function room with
it's own bar. The venue was completely rebuilt in recent years after
it was destroyed by fire. Rumour has it that during the rebuilding,
smugglers tunnels were found beneath the pub leading out to sea. Today
we serve high quality food prepared to order by the highly qualified, award winning French chef,
Michael and
his team. We use fresh locally sourced ingredients whenever
possible, including the daily seafood specials. Because we make
everything fresh down to our sauces, we are able to change ingredients to
cater for special dietary requirements. The Function Room and Skittle
Alley are both available to hire for private occasions or events and buffet
menus can be supplied. This is a very friendly relaxed venue, where
newcomers are always welcome. Make sure you call in next time you're
