Red Lion PhotoThe Red Lion is located in Handcross village, between Haywards Heath and Crawley, close to Nymans Garden National Trust site on the old London to Brighton road.  Originally built as a Post House in about 1819, we are now a Chef & Brewer dining venue.  You will find us a very welcoming pub with personal corners, real fires and candles on the table.  The food available everyday is freshly prepared and cooked to a very high standard and can be enjoyed with a choice wine or real ale, if preferred.  To add to our daily dishes our Chef comes up with some delicious specials.  During the summer al fresco dining on the patio is the order of the day, weather permitting.  With excellent facilities and friendly staff why not come soon to this relaxed venue.  You will never be disappointed.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
