Pie, Lasagne & Chilli dishes. Most of our produce is fresh
and locally sourced wherever possible, with local butcher
Roberts of Steyning supplying our meat. Coffee & Pastries

 The Red Lion
is an impressive looking building located on
London Road in Ashington. Dating back to the late 16th Century
this old Coaching Inn is steeped in smuggling history! It also
took part in the Enclosure Awards of 1815/1816. Today this venue
remains traditional in style with contemporary touches and a decor of
red and cream. There are 165 table covers throughout the pub so
you can dine anywhere you wish. There is a separate restaurant for
more intimate dining with nooks and crannies for a cosy drink or meal.
Comfy seating areas with leather sofas allow you to enjoy coffee and
pastries any time during the day. Food is served from a main menu
with home made pies, lasagnes and the like being particularly popular.
Your meal can be complemented by a choice wine or real ale if preferred.
Outside there is a large beer garden and small side garden - a restful
spot to enjoy the summer sunshine. Remember to come and see us
when you are in the area. You will receive a very warm welcome.
