The Swan is located in the rural village of Upton Warren near Bromsgrove.
Built before the railway came to the area in 1835, the pub was originally a black and white Coaching House. Because of this we became of some importance on the main A38 route between Worcester and Birmingham.
It’s never lost its character, however now much of the building has a contemporary style with a twist of flavour and lots of atmosphere. There are fantastic light fittings and the furniture includes sofas in the snug, where you can relax in front of a real fire in the winter, in a ‘home from home environment’ whilst enjoying a fabulous coffee, maybe read the daily paper, hook up to the internet and surf, or work.
This is more of an adult pub although we have families in when dining. The upstairs restaurant caters for about 70 people, with most of the downstairs tables laid out for dining.
Good quality pub food is served from an exciting main menu which is big on flavour however low on price.
