The Swan is located in the rural village of Upton Warren near Bromsgrove.  Built before the railway came to the area in 1835, the pub was originally a black and white Coaching House.  Because of this we became of some importance on the main A38 route between Worcester and Birmingham. Today however, it was fully refurbished to a high standard in February 2008.  It has not lost its character, although now has a contemporary style with a twist of flavour and lots of atmosphere.  Décor is pale spring greens, browns and creams, with fantastic light fittings and furniture, including sofas in the snug, where you can relax in front of a real fire in the winter, in a ‘home from home environment’ whilst enjoying a fabulous coffee, maybe read the daily paper, hook up to the internet and surf, or work.  This is more of an adult pub although we have families in when dining.  The upstairs restaurant caters for about 70 people, with most of the downstairs tables laid out for dining, with a total of 110 covers throughout.  Food is served from an extensive main menu with a good selection of world wines to complement your choice.  With the Premier Inn conveniently located next door, we have visitors from near and far of all walks of life.
