The
Crown Inn is a old pub set in a rural area in the heart
of Hallow village. Hallow is quite a large village with its own
hall and playing fields which the Crown looks out over. Our
customers are mainly couples or families though its always good to see
the locals from the surrounding houses coming in to dine here.
Food can be
chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which
allow our Chefs to show their flair! You will be served meals
which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to
order. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of
quality wines or local ales if preferred. We have traditional decor
including candles set
out on the 27 tables on an evening which really create a lovely cosy atmosphere.
There are nooks and crannies with two real fires which are lit in the winter
months. We have a good outside area which is ideal for al fresco
dining. Being on the main road to Worcester, people from the
surrounding villages have to pass our door if heading to town.
Many of these people dine with us on the way through as well as people
coming to visit the area. Places of interest include the village of
Lower Broadheath where the English, romantic, composer Edward Elgar was
born, the Malvern Hills to which Elgar lived within the sights of
and was often seen cycling and walking as well as Worcester porcelain
which is
also a popular attraction. Worcester race course is not far from
us which as well as the obvious races holds lots of
entertainment during summer including fire work displays. The team look forward to welcoming you.
