 Stag
and Pheasant is a very bright cottage style pub with abundant
hanging baskets and catering for
different clientele throughout the day. We are split down into three sections to suit everyone. There is
a very male orientated Pool area, a main bar and a lounge / dining area where good
food is served in a calm relaxed atmosphere with traditional seating. During the day
and early evening we
attract business and office people. In the evening the pub caters for a much
more mixed clientele from the local community. Stag &
Pheasant is renowned for its home cooked food using local produce and if
anything you wish is not on the menu just ask and we will try to
oblige. The Speciality Sandwich Board is very popular with our lunchtime
customers, which includes unusual combinations. The
pub's
beer garden, with access through patio doors from the lounge, is a little
country garden in the heart of the city. This and the patio area are popular, especially during the summer. The
Stag and Pheasant is female friendly and trouble free with children
welcome at meal times.
