 Located some
3½ miles from the City Centre and 400 yards from
the University campus you will find The S'oak. This is a modern,
contemporary pub which is open plan and has screens to watch the sport from any
position. There is a sophisticated sound system whereby the volume can be
altered according to the time of day, area of the pub, etc. This creates a
relaxed, friendly atmosphere throughout. During the term we are mainly
student led whereas university holidays are somewhat quieter! Lunchtime
food is very popular with students and people from nearby businesses.
