Peeping Tom pub, CoventryThe Peeping Tom, situated in Cromwell Lane, is one of Coventry's best known pubs.  Inside has a spacious seating area and a home-from-home feel.  The pub has a contemporary design with a warm, welcoming colour scheme.  Outside, the large and picturesque garden includes an outside dining area, perfect for al fresco dining along with a children's play area.  One of the highlights of this popular venue is the weekend Carvery, offering a freshly cooked selection which includes Red Tractor farm assured British meat. You are invited to dine anywhere in the pub.  There is also a huge choice of great value pub food, from baguettes and salads to burgers, curries and popular dishes such as beef lasagne and hand-battered fish and chips.  For our younger visitors there are appetising choices from their own menu.  We are popular with walkers and walking groups as well as local regulars, older people taking advantage of our senior citizen offers and families who come mainly at weekends.  There is history here in the guise of local resident Philip Sammons who lived two doors away as a boy and first worked at the pub as a 12-year-old glass collector in 1945.  Now in his late 70's, he is still a very familiar face at the Peeping Tom.  The pub has been demolished and rebuilt since those days, but the latest refurbishment recaptures the original spirit of this great local venue, with a superb atmosphere and a warm welcome for the whole community.  Come and see us soon.
