 Hogs Head has a town centre
location in Wolverhampton. Being a trouble free venue, we have a reputation for being one of the
safest bars in town. It is one of the only pubs in the area to still
look like a traditional pub. Historically this fairly old building
used to be known as the Vine Hotel. There are superb stained glass
windows with vines etc on and in the middle of the bar and you look up to a
huge stained glass parapet window! Having typical hogshead
furnishings with some comfy seating alongside tables and chairs, there are several
raised levels including the pool and buffet areas. Outside is one of
the biggest beer gardens in Wolverhampton. Our well mixed crowd include police, council workers
and students. Office workers come at
lunchtime, then pop in at 5pm and stay for a while. From 9pm there is
a different night
time crowd as, being a great pre-club bar, we are popular with the 25+ age
group. For Sport enthusiasts this is a favourite venue for watching
live games and we get really busy for the big football matches, always
within a good, non-threatening atmosphere. Food is popular here and we
do take pre-orders to save your valuable time. We offer table service all
