Hare & Hounds is a large attractive listed building which was refurbished to a high standard in December 2007.  With a new contemporary style, the decor is easy on the eye, neutral colours such as chocolate browns and creams.  Although open plan, it is partitioned by book cases to create zoned areas so you can choose where to sit to match your mood.  Wireless internet access is available, and you are more than welcome to relax with a just a cup of fresh Fairtrade coffee and bring your laptop along to do a bit of work or surf the net.  Still a popular dining venue, offering wholesome pub food served from the Two For One menu.  The Two for One deal lets you simply order two adult main meals and get the cheapest one free.  This is an excellent place to find quality at reasonable prices.  The pubs family attractions are the Fun House for children under 4ft 9ins tall, and for the older children a free outdoor play area.  Both facilities are very safe and the Fun House comes with all the latest games and equipment, more than enough to ensure that the family has a great time!  With a new look and trouble free environment for the whole family to enjoy, Hare & Hounds is definitely the place to come.
