The Hare & Hounds is to be found on the busiest high
street in Europe! The pub is a beautiful 19th Century Tudor style
listed building with a traditional interior and a live fire in the bar lit
on cold wintry nights. Upstairs there is a large function room where
we are happy to cater for all celebrations up to 140 people. In the lounge
bar we show all major matches and Gaelic football for our Irish
clientele. Along with our regulars we have a fair amount of passing
trade, especially at weekends as we are part of the local circuit. We
are a trouble free venue and female friendly with a super lively atmosphere
created by the very varied age group. In the past we have featured
UB40 and The Beat. Frank Skinner started out in the area and has
appeared here too. The friendly team at the Hare & Hounds look forward to welcoming you
soon.
