The
Glassworks, refurbished in 2006, is based
on a main road in Amblecote, a residential area
between Stourbridge and Kings Winford.
Amblecote is an ancient village which was
significant in the Industrial Revolution.
Stourbridge, set on the edge of the
Black Country, has lovely countryside right
on the doorstep and yet is less than fifteen miles
from
Birmingham, the UK's second city.
Some local places of interest include Broadfield
House Glass Museum, beautiful Hagley Hall and
grounds and Dudley Zoological Gardens. Inside
this Brewers Fayre venue the decor is contemporary
and bright with a defined bar and restaurant
although you can dine anywhere throughout the pub.
Popular with families quality food is served at a
reasonable price and our children's menu has
appetizing choices for our younger visitors.
Sport enthusiasts can enjoy the big match shown on
our two plasma screens and we also have a pool table
for a relaxed game with friends over a pint.
On bright sunny days the extensive beer garden is a
popular spot to chill out and enjoy a drink.
There's always a
pleasant welcome from our sociable bar staff for our
local regulars and visitors. Come and meet us
soon. |
