The George Stephenson can be found just off Junction 10 of the M6 motorway in an area which has supermarkets, shops and a housing estate close by. Fully refurbished in August 2007, the new look is stunning. We re-opened as modern venue with a bright, fresh look and neutral colour scheme.  The bar area has been extended and has leather sofas and bucket seats along side traditional pub seating & high tables & chairs. We have opened up an area to create a large space, which is suitable for holding any type of private party including weddings.  We are very family orientated and have an outdoor play area in the beer garden.  To cater for our youngest customers, up to 4ft 9ins in height, the indoor Fun House has plenty to keep them amused for hours!  All our customers can enjoy quality drinks and wholesome food from the Two For One menu, all in comfortable relaxed surroundings.  The Two for One deal lets you simply order two adult main meals and get the cheapest one free.  Many people come from the nearby shops and businesses, with us having the facility for them to pre-order by phone to shorten waiting time in a busy day's schedule.  We have extra facilities for toddlers and babies such as high chairs, bibs etc.  In fact everything to make you feel 'at home'.  The staff here are a really good team who work in unison to make all visitors feel very welcome.  Why not come along and see the changes, you are sure to have a memorable day out?
