The
Church Tavern is a very modern spacious pub set in a quiet
residential area, backing onto the park and Alexander Sports
Stadium. Fully refurbished in 2007, it has a contemporary, homely
feel, with dark blue, brown & cream decor and leather sofas in the bar
area. You are more than welcome to pop in for a coffee or just a
drink, and take maybe advantage of our wireless internet access.
This pub has gained an excellent reputation for quality, drink and friendly service.
You can choose to dine in the large 150 seater restaurant from a varied
menu to suit all ages and tastes. The Two for One deal lets you
simply order two
adult main meals and get the cheapest one free. We have full
facilities for the disabled and children. Alongside the pub the
purpose built indoor play building is brand new for 2007. Recently
introduced into the UK it is aimed to provide fun with entertainment,
offering children a safe play environment, while adults take a welcome
break. The Fuzzoids, a group of friendly fuzzy monsters from the
plant Fuzz, will amuse the children for hours. The Church Tavern is a great place to meet
up with friends, enjoy a sociable drink or bring the whole family for a
great time out.
