Combined with care and freshly cooked for you, our dishes deliver the best of traditional pub food and more. We offer a range of great value menus throughout the week, so you can be assured that great quality Chef & Brewer food does not cost the earth.
Our mouth-watering new Autumn Winter menu offers a range of your favourite Chef & Brewer dishes. We also have a great selection of new dishes - so whether it's a platter to share with friends, a delicious starter or a classic main course, we have something to suit everyone! Try our new range of delicious platters, including our impressive Chef & Brewer platter or perhaps choose one of the Chef & Brewer favourites, including the Winter Pie Platter and scallops and black pudding.  In the small rural village of Catherine de Barnes just outside Solihull you will find The Boat Inn. With a canal running adjacent to the pub this is a great place to come for a meal or a drink with friends. Inside is warm and welcoming in an olde English style with open fires, nooks and crannies. Being 1½ miles from the NEC and Birmingham International Airport we have a really good mix of clientele. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair! You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. Complement your meal with a fine wine or real ale and you have a memorable dining experience.
