Black Horse PhotoThe Black Horse is situated only two miles from Edgebaston Cricket Ground on the main A38, leading into the City.  Birmingham City Centre is about 6½ miles away making us a popular starting point when having a night out.  Many come for a couple of pints on a Friday and Saturday night before heading onto the bars and clubs.  We even have a bus stop right outside!  Tudor in style the Black Horse used to be an old Coaching Inn.  We still retain some traditional character with two large open fireplaces which are ideal for the cold winter evenings.  A unique feature is a large black marble horse which sits above one of the fires.  Food is served daily from a good main menu with lots of choice at great prices.  Nowadays we attract a football mad crowd of friendly regulars.  The sports fixtures always create a great atmosphere with all newcomers welcome.  Our clientele is non intimidating and because of our trouble free status we are often visited by women in on their own.  Why not join us for a drink, bite to eat or to watch a game amongst friends.  Everyone looks forward to seeing you soon.
