Three Crowns

The Three Crowns is a traditional English pub located in the attractive rural village of Whaddon.  The Building itself is named after a hunt which took place many years ago when King John was joined by the Kings of France and Scotland to quench their thirst here!  It has retained many original features such as the oak beams and two open log fires which keep you warm on cold winter's nights. Refurbished in early 2008, we are popular with the locals and are fast gaining a reputation as an excellent food house offering fine, freshly prepared dishes cooked to order on the premises.  Favourite dishes include Barbecue Spare Ribs & Slow Roasted Honey Glazed Belly Pork on a bed of sauteed cabbage and accompanied with a cider & sage reduction.  There is a separate bar and restaurant along with a large beer garden where you can enjoy your meal or choice of drink during the summer in a country setting.  Next time you are looking for somewhere rather special then come along to the Three Crowns.  You will not be disappointed.
