 The Rose & Crown
is located in Bulford, a large olde worlde village
on
the edge of Salisbury Plain, just 10 minutes from Stonehenge. Formerly an Inn, this pub,
the only one in the village, was rebuilt in
1896. Today we have retained much of it's traditional character with beams and old
prints on the walls. Catering for the local regulars and welcoming newcomers
from further afield,
we serve food throughout the pub every day and offer a fine selection of the
best real ales and other quality drinks. Our clientele include
families and military personnel. During the
second World War we were the local for the Canadian Parachute Regiment
and reunions are still held here. The pub has
a
restaurant area where our homemade food is served and there is also a lounge
bar and public bar. Outside we have a welcoming beer garden for the summer months which has
ample space for all our visitors. Whether you would like to enjoy a pint
with friends, play a game of pool or sample a Sunday Roast, the Rose & Crown
can cater for all your needs and we look forward to your visit. |
