On
the edge of Salisbury Plain, only 10 minutes from Stonehenge, you will come
across the Rose & Crown, a proper
village pub. We are the only pub in Bulford, a large olde worlde
village. Formerly an Inn the pub as you see it today was rebuilt in
1896. We retain much of our olde worlde character with beams and old
prints on the walls. Catering for the locals and welcoming newcomers
we serve food throughout the pub every day and offer a fine selection of the
best pints. We are visited by plenty of military personnel along with being the favourite haunt of
families. We were the local for the Canadian Parachute Regiment in the
2nd World War and reunions are still held here. The pub has a 48 seater
restaurant area where our homemade food is served. There is also a lounge
bar and public bar where sports are shown on the big screen.
Outside we have a welcoming beer garden for the summer months which has
ample space for all our customers. Whether you like to have a pint
with friends, play pool or sample a Sunday Roast, the Rose & Crown
can cater for all your needs and awaits your visit.
