The Masons Arms is situated in
Warminster. We have an ideal location being central to many places of
interest in the area. Longleat Safari Park is just four miles away,
the city of Salisbury is twenty
miles up the road and Stonehenge is only a few miles from here, as is Centre Parcs.
This 300 year
old historical building has had a
full refurbishment in April 2007. It is open plan but with different sections, a lounge, big bar and dining area
with the traditional features such as the
old beams being retained. This family run pub is still like your traditional local
as we have
stayed away from the theme pub style and have kept that local charm. You can come in and have a nice drink and a chat without loud music
making conversation difficult. Our clientele in this trouble free venue
is mainly the 30+ age group. Although this is an
army town we don’t get many squaddies in because the pub has a traditional, not
theme pub atmosphere. Everyone is really friendly and newcomers and visitors made
to feel welcome. You can choose to dine anywhere in the pub. We offer a
range of freshly cooked dishes, all prepared from scratch in-house using
locally sourced produce and locally reared meats wherever possible. We
try to keep our prices reasonable and
our Sunday roast is not to be missed. We have a function room available
for all sorts of parties for up to 90 people along with three
reasonably priced letting rooms where you can prolong your stay with us if
you would like. If you are visiting this part of the country, come and
see us soon.
