The Green Dragon is situated in what is known as "the village under
the plain" or Market Lavington, 5 miles south of Devizes. A well kept listed building,
which is brick built with a bath - stone porch, it has been refurbished throughout
to a high standard that is both tasteful
and sympathetic to the building and surrounding village. With many awards
and listings, Steve & Nicky have built up a good reputation for drink, food and
accommodation. You can stay in one of the cosy letting rooms and because
of the age of the building each room has it's own individual character. Outside facilities offer you an
enclosed garden area with a pets corner, where children can look at the rabbits,
birds etc., a petanque
pitch and a BBQ area which can be used for
functions throughout the summer (weather permitting). In a relaxed
environment you can enjoy a relaxing drink or a bite to eat from a good
traditional pub food menu and settle down to let the hubble
bubble of life pass you by.
There is a good selection of wines and spirits available form the bar as well as
traditional and bottled beers, lagers and handpulled ales. A warm welcome
awaits you at The Green Dragon. To find us take the road South on the A360
