Barford Inn, Salisbury

The Barford Inn
is situated between Salisbury and Shaftesbury in the picturesque village of Barford St. Martin - in the heart of Wiltshire.  Stonehenge, Fovant Badges and the New Forest are all close by and there are plenty of lovely walks in the area.  The pub is a 16th Century Coaching Inn which used to brew its own beer in what is now the beautiful restaurant. This Grade II listed building has a traditional bar with beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces.  Today you can relax outside in our large beer garden, or sit in our courtyard and enjoy al fresco dining in the summer sunshine.  There is a full awning and patio heaters for those cooler moments!  The Barford Inn is an ideal base to enjoy all the attractions of Salisbury and the local area whilst enjoying the peace and quiet of an old English Pub.  We get a real mix of people visiting us from business people, walkers and the regular locals.  We cater well for senior citizens with usually a special offer available.  Next time you are near, pop in and enjoy the ambiance.  You may be tempted to prolong your stay - we can provide accommodation.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
