Located on the main A46 road just outside Red Hill you will find The Stag.  This old 16th Century Coach House is steeped in history.  It used to be a jail house with a chapel to the front and the court behind.  People would go from there to the crossroads.  Today the pub is very different but retains many original features such as the jailhouse windows.  The Stag is a destination food house with splendid views overlooking the moors and such a super relaxed atmosphere.  There is no loud music or Sport to mar your enjoyment of a quality meal here.  You can choose from an excellent menu with food freshly prepared and cooked to order.  You can even reserve your table to ensure you are not disappointed.  To complete your visit why not stay in one of our en-suite rooms.  They all offer high standards at affordable prices.  Your first visit is most likely not to be your last.
