 Pen
& Parchment a pub since the 17th century,
though the original building is older, situated at
the confluence of the river Avon and the canal, with
its own piece of history: one wooden pillar is from
a ship captained by Admiral Lord Nelson, while
outside the wisteria that covers the outside of the
building is over 150 years old. We offer a
great range of food to suit all tastes, with lighter
bites for lunch time, a dinner menu and a regularly
changing specials collection. With a great
reputation for excellent cask ales, and an extensive
wine drinks selection, we have something for all
ages. A children's and toddler's menu is
available on request, and high chairs are available.
Dogs are welcome outside, and we have a sheltered
area for rainy days. Bookings are welcome. |
