Photo Coming SoonThe Pen & Parchment is situated on the edge of town.  The old building, benefitted from a refurbishment in October 2007.  We have retained traditional features such as the original beams, but added contemporary style touches such as lovely leather sofas and bucket seats, so you can enjoy a relaxing drink alone or with friends.  There are now fires in two parts of the pub, which are on all through the winter.  You can choose to dine throughout, and we offer full table service in the raised area located in the main well of the pub.  Quality cooked to order pub food is available daily until late from a very good menu, offering a wide variety of dishes, with something to suit all tastes.  A traditional carvery on a Sunday is a must for those who enjoy a slap up homecooked roast meal!  We attract a good mix of people including visitors and passers by.  A welcoming atmosphere is created by the friendly, helpful staff.  There is a super selection of wines to complement the meal and range of coffee to finish.  Our weekly quiz offers the pubs clientele superb entertainment.  If it is a quiet drink with friends and family, or a tasty meal you are looking for, why not visit us at the Pen & Parchment.
