Black Horse Inn PhotoThe Black Horse Inn at Shipston-on-Stour is conveniently situated central to many attractions in the Midlands.  Dating back to the 14th Century this beautiful olde worlde pub has a thatched roof, original beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplace with an open fire lit on chilly wintry nights.  We serve delicious home cooked, mainly English food, freshly prepared and cooked to order.  There is an excellent choice of wines to accompany your meal or, if preferred, a selection of real ales to choose from at the bar.  Outside there is a fully enclosed beer garden to enjoy the summer sunshine and we have won awards for our floral displays both to the front and in the garden.  This is a venue well worth a visit when you are next down this way.  If you are looking to hold a family or office party, this can be accommodated in the separate dining room.  You can even prolong the experience by staying overnight in one of the en-suite rooms.  Whatever your reason for visiting this lovely pub, the friendly team will give you a very warm welcome.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
