Watermill in Halifax is located in a
residential area about two miles from the town
centre, close to Eureka. It is beside the
canal where the barges moor up. Historically
it used to be part of Scottish & Newcastle after
which it was taken over by Whitbread. This open
plan pub has an adult only bar which seats about 58
people - a place to relax on the comfy seating and
maybe watch BBC News 24 on the
plasma screen. There is a 154 cover large
restaurant where we serve quality Brewers Fayre food
at a reasonable price from an extensive menu and the
children's menu has appetizing choices for our
younger visitors. We are unable to serve food
outside because the steps going down would make it
hazardous. There are beer gardens to the front
and back plus an outdoor play area where the
youngsters can amuse themselves whilst the adults
chill out in the sunshine. Our clientele is a
random mix of local regulars, families, couples,
passers by and business people staying in the 31 bed
Premier Inn. The team are friendly, well trained and
