 Situated
in a pleasant, desirable area of Wakefield close to the village of
Sandal. We are near the New Miller Dam with many attractive walks.
Fully refurbished to a high standard in December 2008, we have a great
contemporary look with black and gold decor throughout. The
flooring is all new with a mixture of tiles, wooden floors and carpets.
Set on three levels, there is only large bar now.
You can dine throughout the venue. The Walnut Tree
was converted to a Two For One pub in 1999, offering a main menu with a
fantastic offer. The Two for One deal lets you simply order two
adult main meals and get the cheapest one free. You can complement
your meal with a selection of wines, tea, speciality coffees and other
drinks including real ales. A family friendly pub, the Wacky
Warehouse is an indoor play building for children under 4ft 9ins tall.
This features a new climbing wall and an adult coffee bar area, offering
carers the chance to relax in an adult environment, yet still able to
keep an eye on the young ones. Older children can use our very
safe outdoor play area. You must come and experience this superb
pub and restaurant.
