The Ship
is steeped in over 300 years of history and is possibly the oldest pub in
Leeds. Located down an alleyway opposite
Harvey Nichols in the City Centre,
this venue manages to bring a more traditional feel to
the hustle and bustle of city life, with cask
ales, fine wines and fantastic food from our chefs
who offer an extensive menu and a weekly changing specials
board. There are
up to five cask ales most of which are sourced from
local breweries and also a large selection of world
beers and draughts - so you’re sure to find one
of your favourites. With
regular live events there is always something new
going on. Our lively nights superbly contrast our laid back lunchtimes and, with
ever more events being scheduled daily, you will never need an excuse to pop in for a
pint. Hanging baskets adorn the traditional front of the Ship Inn
throughout the year and the 'olde worlde' look
is
continued inside. Dark wood panelling and
traditional pub mirrors adorn the walls, the floors are
of
original wood or tile and the open fire adds a
feeling of warmth to the pub. We attract a
real mix of clientele including students, couples,
city workers and local regulars. Pop in soon - our friendly staff and regulars will ensure you have a great
time.
