the Ship
Inn is a family orientated pub which has been a Hungry Horse
venue since 2003. Fully refurbished to a high standard in 2008
following flood damage in January, we offer a brand new concept with
state of the art family dining facilities. The 246 cover
restaurant has 15 booths with individual TVs, so separate booths can
watch different channels. Each booth seats up to 6 people and is
ideal for small groups and family dining. Stylish decor is warm
and welcoming with reds, oranges and cosy greens, as well as fashionable
big print wall paper. Subdued lighting makes us a relaxed
environment to enjoy a drink or a meal. We offer the highest standards of
food, drink and service. Food is served from an extensive value
menu, you can select a hearty main meal or choose a lighter
dish from the snack menu. The pick 'n' mix children's menu has great choices for
young ones, with options for healthy eating. We boast the largest
Hungry Horse outside children's play area and are famous for our parties in
the indoor play building, this is the best venue for any family. The
indoor play building has 72 activities including frames, a ball pool,
ropes, slides and tubes, as well as Wii play in the party room when
available - all a toddler or young child could ask for.
