 The Podger
is a good locals pub situated in Garforth on the outskirts of Leeds.
Fully refurbished in April 2007 with a smarter look, the neutral
colour scheme gives us a fresh modern feel. Bright throughout the day
we have
dimmed lighting in the evenings. Leather sofas and loose seating
provide a comfortable environment and zoned music, which is quieter in some
areas, offer you a relaxed atmosphere for a quiet drink alone or with friends. Trouble free and female friendly, we get a
nice mixture of young and old making the most of the laid back atmosphere.
The new varied menu, with it's selection of light bites and mains, has
something for all tastes from classics such as steak and ale pie or egg and
chips to fresh Aberdeen Angus burgers, along with organic bread sandwiches.
Light entertainment takes place throughout the week, including the long
running quiz nights. With something for everyone, The Podger is an informal pub
