 The
George & Dragon is a large family pub with the ultimate
children's entertainment building and outside play area. Refurbished
in June 2007, we still have a traditional look with a slightly
contemporary feel. There are zoned areas, so you can choose where
to sit to suit your mood. Along with the traditional bar area,
there is also a dining area, and relaxed lounge area with tub seating
and sofas. We are popular with quiet drinkers, as the Wacky
Warehouse is separate from the main pub. You can dine throughout
the pub, enjoying a meal from two for one menu. This has something
for all tastes and the whole family. The Two for One deal lets you
simply order two adult main meals and get the cheapest one free.
The pub offers a spacious car park, a large beer garden and facilities
for everyone including children's parties in the Wacky Wharehouse. We are very well
placed for those looking for a walk, being next to the river, the canal and
the woods. The management and staff of the George and
Dragon will always give a warm welcome to all our customers, so come and try
us out.
