Branch Hotel Shipley, Bradford

This is a community minded pub appealing to all ages and groups.  At the Branch Hotel we offer choice in beer, wines, ciders and an all day menu.  The pub dates back to the 1700's as a coaching house, hence its original name "Waggon and Horses".  It is now a one-room operation with big screen sport, CD sound system and a weekly quiz.  Charity raising has been extremely active with almost £20,000 being raised for local good causes in four years.  Entertainment is provided for charity events only, as we are very much a 'conversation pub'.  We are proud that the pub has customers who travel considerable distances to sample our beers.  We pride ourselves on providing excellent real ales, having won the Camra Pub in Season 1998.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
