The Black Horse is in a rural setting, between Otley and Ilkley featuring stunning views over Wharfedale.  This quality Gastro Pub is ideally positioned for those returning from a day out in the Yorkshire Dales National Park or visiting the local area for a quiet stroll. High quality homemade food is available thought the pub from a range of menus brought to you by local family firm - Greencliffe Taverns. Our bright and airy conservatory is the ideal place to relax and watch local nature from within comfortable surroundings. For the warmer months we have a large patio area with modern furniture, the ideal spot to catch some rays whist enjoying a chilled glass of crisp wine.

About Greencliffe Taverns -
'Passionate About food, Passionate About People'.
Greencliffe Taverns are a family owned and family run business. Our pubs are run by brothers Chris and Nick Green, with major investors being their father Ken Green and partner Christine Cliffe. Both Chris and Nick have many built up years of experience within the hospitality industry and bring to the company all the expertise and passion which underlies the ethos of the company today.
All our pubs use locally produced foods where possible, a key to the quality of our menus. We hope to offer the customer fine dining gastro food in the most enjoyable of settings.  We pride ourselves on having a really great team from our bar staff to our waiting staff and of course to our fantastic, talented chefs.
As our motto suggests, we are passionate about food and we are passionate about people.
