 Set in
the fairly rural village of Woolsington, The
Wheatsheaf is a large country pub with the ability to cater for
200 diners at any one time. With some housing around us we see regulars popping
in but also attract many passers by partly because of our proximity to
Newcastle Airport and the Premier Inn next door. The airport is only
five minutes away, making us the ideal venue for a meal before or after your
flight. We see many new faces coming and going as business people
staying at the Premier Inn often have their evening meal and drink here.
Refurbished and re-branded to a Fayre & Square pub in Summer 2010 we still
have amazing food offers makes us as popular as ever
with families and couples who want to dine for a
great price. The pub is open plan with a
restaurant and bar sections. Dining is mainly
in the restaurant area however we offer snacks /
meals in the bar area. Outside there are eight
tables on the patio, which overlooks the beer garden
with it's play area, where we offer al fresco dining
in the summer months. Come and meet Marjorie
