The Salutation Inn is located on the main street in the village of Tynemouth.  It has a traditional look outside with very pretty flowered baskets on display.  The traditional look continues inside with many old photos adorning the walls.  We are very popular for food and offer great value meals but are also popular with Sport enthusiasts.  We have a good many regular locals who create a great atmosphere when there are matches being shown.  We also have a sports area with a pool table, and sport memorabilia on the walls.   As all this is towards the back of the pub there is plenty of space for diners who are not disturbed when enjoying their meal.  We have a safe environment and to ensure this we have door staff on Friday - Sunday evenings.  Part of our clientele are tourists, including families who enjoy dining at great prices.  Shoppers also like to just pop in for a coffee and muffin.  There is a warm, friendly feel about the place where everyone is relaxed and there is plenty of seating.  Come and try us soon.
