 The Royal Marine, formerly known as The Sunderland Flying Boat, is a good community pub
offering value for money food, a good range of drinks including cask ales
and an active sports following. With the refurbishment in April
2007, came a more upmarket, contemporary looking pub with a brighter, lighter
feel and comfortable seating. Food is popular now, with a new
menu which offers good quality food at reasonable prices. You are guaranteed a great time
here with superb drinks offers and all
round sports facilities. We have a pool table and Sky shown
on the big screens and plasma screens. The pub is situated in a quiet residential area
and is trouble free and female friendly. Both the staff and
regulars make everyone feel welcome and with wholesome food, drinks and
sport you will not find a better pub in the area.
