Tucked away in Algernon Place, between Whitley Road and the Metro line (four
minutes from Whitley Bay Station) The Rockcliffe is hidden from all but those
citizens of Whitley Bay who are actually going there. This cosy locals' pub also
happens to be one of the busiest in the town, so those who know it clearly like
what they find – good beer, good company, a game of darts or dominoes or the
Tuesday quiz. Locals don’t get more local than the Rockcliffe Arms. Or much
better.
