Located
in Earsdon village, on the edge of Whitley Bay and on the Northumberland
doorstep, the Red Lion has
easy access being five minutes north and south from the A19.
This is a great local village pub and because of the quality pub food is
also a
popular family food house. The public bar and lounge are
completely separate areas. The public bar is home to our sports
facilities and attracts locals for a quality pint. Matches are
shown on the big plasma screen, particularly when either Newcastle
United or England are playing. We are home to many teams and all
are welcome to take part in the weekly quizzes. There is a lounge
and dining area which sees families and passers by who can't
resist our superb range of meals. Food is available every day from
the wide ranging menu and your chosen meal is served to you by our
friendly and helpful staff. To accompany your food we offer a fine
selection of wines, tea and speciality coffee. Why not come on a
Sunday and try our delicious roast with a choice of three meats! In
the summer months both adults and children can enjoy our garden area
where drinks can be taken and food is served. Justin and
his team are looking forward to your visit.
