| REFURBISHMENT | We re-opened following a refurbishment in Spring 2010. Our decor is in keeping with the style of the pub, still some rich colours but much lighter & brighter. Outside has also been repainted along with a new seating area. |

We offer a range of great value menus throughout the week, so you can be assured that great quality Chef & Brewer food does not cost the earth.
Our mouth-watering new Autumn Winter menu offers a range of your favourite Chef & Brewer dishes. We also have a great selection of new dishes - so whether it's a platter to share with friends, a delicious starter or a classic main course, we have something to suit everyone! Try our new range of delicious platters, including our impressive Chef & Brewer platter or perhaps choose one of the Chef & Brewer favourites, including the Winter Pie Platter and scallops and black pudding.  The Ravensworth Arms is ideally situated just three minutes from the A1 at Lamesley and was refurbished in 2010. We are close to local attractions such as the Metro Centre, Angel of the North and Newcastle City Centre. As well as this there is a nature walk to the back of the pub which makes us popular with ramblers and birdwatchers too. Lewis Carrol wrote Alice in Wonderland here and it is also Catherine Cookson country which helps make our clientele quite mixed! Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair! You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines or a selection of real ales. If you are able to stay in the area we have excellent accommodation or even for wedding guests as hold a civil wedding license.
