Peregrine PhotoThe Peregrine is a community pub located in Chapel House Estate some 10 miles from the City Centre.  Built in the early 1960s this John Barras style venue is L shaped and has a welcoming atmosphere which invites a good even mix of men and women.  For Sport enthusiasts there are three big screens alongside plasma screens to allow you to sit anywhere to watch a match.  With 90% of our customers being local regulars, we are particularly crowded on big match days as, for example, when Newcastle are playing, but the atmosphere is great!  There is a pool table in the family area where children can come until 7pm.  Food is served from the main menu and specials board to be enjoyed anywhere inside or out in the beer garden.  During the week our more mature clientele often take advantage of our half price meals which are half size.  Entertainment includes a monthly theme night and weekly quiz.  If you are new to the area come along soon to this really nice female friendly pub, have a drink or a meal and meet the regulars.  You will be given a warm welcome.
