Welcome to Newton Park
which re-opened following a refurbishment in July 2009 as a Hungry Horse
venue. Inside we have
opened it up a lot and have a great new sports area now with 3 pool tables
and plasma screens. With the added feature of new booth seating with
TV's in them it really looks great. This smart pub is located next to the Ministry in Benton Park
and close to the Freeman Hospital and a retail park. Incorporating a U shaped, open plan bar, a games room, real ale bar, function
room and dining area. Food is served from
the extensive Hungry Horse menu to be eaten anywhere in the pub or al fresco in the
beer garden during the summer months. We now have full disabled
facilities so are genuinely a pub for all. Entertainment includes a weekly quiz
night along with sports & big matches screened.
We have a large group of regular locals and an excellent team of staff who
all help make this the sociable, friendly pub it is.
