Quality Modern British
menu, all freshly prepared and cooked to order, covering
traditional light bites, small plates, mains, burgers, Deli
through to something for that special occasion. All dishes are
cooked to order using fresh produce, UK sourced where possible
and using only UK reared meat. Everything from liver and onions
or a beef suet pudding to madras curry. Children's portions
served from the main menu. |

 The
Monkseaton Arms was originally a monastery with a brewery
run by the residing monks. Fully refurbished to a high standard in October
2007, we have a modern look with a retro touch. There is lots of comfy
leather seating and a relaxed, warm atmosphere. You are welcome to
call in for just a cup of coffee and maybe surf the net or do a bit of work
on your laptop, taking advantage of our free wireless internet access.
Food is served throughout the pub, with table service offered in the lounge
area. All our food is freshly prepared using British meat and UK
sourced produce wherever possible. The menu offers a range of British
Classics including favourites such as beef suet pudding and an all day
breakfast. Sunday lunch is not to be missed! Outside there is
seating for customers to soak up the summer sun.
We
attract a good mix of people, young and old, making this a family friendly venue. If you are looking for a tasty meal, a
