 The
Monkseaton Arms was originally a monastery with a brewery run by
the residing monks. We have a modern look with a retro touch.
There is lots of comfy leather seating and a relaxed, warm atmosphere. You
are welcome to call in for just a cup of coffee and maybe surf the net or do
a bit of work on your laptop, taking advantage of our free wireless internet
access. Food is served throughout the pub, with table service offered
in the lounge area. All our food is freshly prepared using British
meat and UK sourced produce wherever possible. The menu offers a range
of British Classics including favourites such as beef & ale pie and
Lincolnshire sausage & mash. Sunday lunch is not to be missed!
Outside there is seating for customers to soak up the summer sun.
We
attract a good mix of people, young and old, making this a family friendly venue. If you are looking for a tasty meal, a
