Longship PhotoThe Longship in Hebburn is a sociable community pub on the edge of an estate with offices to the rear.  This traditional John Barras style pub was built in 1980 and attracts people from 18 to 85 and beyond.  During the week office workers come for their lunchtime break and enjoy a meal or a drink and chat with friends.  The change of menu has improved the food available and many pop in to take advantage of the weekly food and drink offers.  This is an open plan venue with a big screen and plasma screens in each end, allowing everyone to view the match being shown.  Sunderland supporters are regulars but we do entertain those from Newcastle too, all in good fun.  As well as the sport we hold plenty of weekend entertainment from karaoke's to a disco.  When you are next down this way, drop in and meet Julie and her friendly crew at the Longship!

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
