The traditional village local

way” to Mickley at this warm, friendly old coaching inn. Think Monday
Quiz Night, Tuesday Entertainment Night (the busiest of the week),
Wednesday domino handicap, Friday darts match, annual Leak and Vegetable
Show… and you’ve got the picture. The Halfway
House has an old fashioned bar which is the centre of community
activity, and the spacious open-plan lounge with piano is for relaxation
and conservation.
