 This is a
traditional
family pub where people of all ages can find something to keep them
entertained. We have a large selection of beers and a value for money
varied main menu is served every day. During the summer months you
can relax on the decked area which overlooks the valley and has seating
for 80 people, with heaters and soft background music.
Thursday nights are particularly popular with local bands providing a
mixture of music from heavy rock to folk. As well as this we show
sport on the big screen from all the channels so that no one need miss an
exciting game. With friendly staff and regulars The Gold Medal
is attractive to newcomers. We welcome customers to book their
special event here which can be accommodated in the conservatory. We can cater comfortably for
