 The Fox & Hounds is located on the main road into
Newcastle coming from the West. Although not situated on a housing
estate this is a John Barras pub with a real community feel. Since
reopening in December 2004 after a major refurbishment all is bright,
clean and fresh. You can now enjoy yourself in a trouble free
environment. Most of the regulars have returned for the quality
drinks on offer and we have plenty of newcomers for food and drink.
During the day local business people and passers by spend their lunch
break with us having a tasty meal from the main menu or a drink with
colleagues. For
the Sport enthusiasts there is a big screen and several TVs to watch that
important match, plus a pool table and darts board, great for a friendly game in
the lunch hour. Come along soon to this revitalized pub and
take part in all the new activities as they occur. You will be given
a fine welcome!
