Cumberland Arms pub, TynemouthThe Cumberland Arms is located in the smart area of Tynemouth near Newcastle.  Built as a pub in the 1860's we offer our valued customers the 'Best Real Ale Pub in the area'!  Our clientele can enjoy the extensive range of beers and ales at the bar or one of our quality wines - with such a large selection there is very little call for more modern drinks like alco-pops.  The lack of lights and loud music enables everyone to savour their pint to the full.  The Cumberland is like two pubs in one, having a traditional bar which is contrasted by a more modern lounge and dining area where everyone can relax in comfort.  After food served has decreased in the evening the dining area becomes a relaxing quiet area with low piped music.  We are popular with lunchtime office workers who can choose a meal from the main menu, available every day. This is best finished off with a perfect pint!  David and Denise, who are Cask Marque accredited, have been publicans here since 1996, making it the fine establishment it is today.  There is no excuse to delay coming here today you certainly will not be disappointed!
