The Crows Nest, formerly Bar Oz, is now a much more comfortable, brighter place to be
since its refurbishment in 2005.
We have gained a reputation as a female friendly venue and somewhere to
enjoy great pub food. Gone are the wooden stools and Australian theme,
which have been replaced by padded seats and a lighter decor.
Conveniently located in the Haymarket
district of Newcastle between the Universities of Newcastle and Northumbria, we
are also
close to the Railway and Metro Bus stations. For Sports enthusiast this is 'the' place to come and watch all important matches
on our numerous screens to view the game from any aspect of the bar. At the weekend
we are very popular with our student and pre-club
customers. Whatever time of day you visit there is a superb range of
drinks, many at discounted prices. You will have to drop in and see
the changes for yourself. The friendly team will
always be happy to welcome you.
