The County is an impressive, attractive listed building located on the main road into Newcastle at Gosforth.  This refreshingly quiet pub renowned for the impressive selection of up to 13 real ales available to tempt the connoisseur. The clientele are mainly regulars but there is a really great friendly atmosphere where newcomers are made most welcome.  The pub has one bar area and a separate room to the back which can be used for small get togethers.  Cooked to order food can be chosen from a main menu and eaten anywhere in the pub.  Come along soon and taste some quality ale.  We hold regular beer festivals where all are welcome.  The County team look forward to seeing regular & new faces.
