 Corner
House, as the name implies is located on a corner
site in the Heaton area of Newcastle. It is a large John Barras style open
plan pub with one very long bar. During the daytime we have many business
people and passing customers coming in for their lunch or a drink with
friends. Food is chosen from a main menu and specials board, many being tempted by the
meal offer available during the week. The clientele is a
good mix of ages with students finding it a popular haunt with many favourite
drinks being at discounted prices. Sport can be viewed from anywhere in
the pub on TVs positioned around the bar. Other
games such as pool and darts can also be enjoyed here along with a range of entertainment most nights of the week. The friendly, helpful staff make this the really
good relaxed venue it is, giving a warm welcome to all. Apart from the
usual activities associated with a busy pub we host Antiques & Wedding
Fairs. Our function room is always available
for all private "dos" and some affordable en-suite rooms to stay while
