Since
the full refurbishment in Spring 2004 the Coach
& Horses is very much the pub to visit in the village of
Wrekenton.
This pub used to be a Coaching Inn but nowadays is open plan with a
long bar stretching through to a lounge and nice raised seating area, all
with new furniture, curtains etc. With a really good, loyal, local
customer base the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Along with the
usual popular Sports orientation, showing all the major matches on the big screen, we also hold charity events with the proceeds
going to the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital or to various local individuals who need equipment and the like. Next
